Inaugration of CSMS for Case Digitalization in District Court Ghizer
The Honourable Chief Justice of Gilgit-Baltistan, Mr Ali Baig, along with the Honourable Banking & Custom Judge and DG Judicial Academy, Mr Ghulam Abbas Chopa, Honourable Session Judge and Addl Registrar GB Chief Court, inaugurated the Copy & Scanning Branch (CSMS) in the subordinate courts of District Ghizer. On the occasion, the Chief Justice emphasised that the foremost duty of the judiciary is to provide timely, transparent, and affordable justice to the people. He termed the initiative a historic milestone in the regions judicial system.
Despite limited resources, the Chief Court has established a digital system under which all decided and pending case records will be scanned and preserved. The CSMS (Copy Scanning Management System) was developed in-house by the GB Chief Court IT Team: Mr Muhammad Ilyas (IT In-Charge), Mr Shoukat Hussain (Senior Software Engineer), and Mr Hussain Ali Khan Maqpoon (Software Engineer).
