Mr Ghulam Abbas Chopa halling from Khaplu district head quarter district Ghanche, was born on 3rd March. 1975. He got his early and secondary education from his native village Khaplu, intermediate from Allama Iqbal College Karachi in the year 1993, graduation from National College Karachi in the year 1996, LLB from Punjab University in the year 2000 and MA (political science) from Karakuram International University Gilgit Baltistan in the year 2022.
Mr Ghulam Abbas Chopa was enrolled as an advocate in the year 2001 in Punjab Bar Council and remained active practicing lawyer till 2005. He joined government service as District Attorney in the year 2005 and served as District Attorney in Baltistan region till November 2012. He was appointed as Addl District and Sessions Judge in the year 2012 in Gilgit Baltistan Judiciary through Federal Public Service Commission and remained Addl District and Sessions Judge till 2014 then he was promoted to District and Sessions Judge and served as District & Sessions Judge in District Astore, Ghizer, Diamer and Skardu.
Mr Ghulam Abbas Chopa is posted as Registrar Gilgit Baltistan Chief Court Gilgit. He also attended many trainings. Sessions, workshop and conferences both in land and abroad.
