The Gilgit-Baltistan Chief Court has ordered the transfer of cases currently instituted or pending before the Principal Seat at Gilgit that pertain to the Chief Court Registry Office, Diamer (Chilas), with immediate effect. The Assistant Registrar (General), Judicial Branch, Gilgit, has been directed to ensure the physical and digital transfer of case files and complete records to the Assistant Registrar, Registry Office, Diamer at Chilas. The notification was issued on 16 October 2026 by order of the Hon’ble Chief Justice.
