Visit of United Nations Development Program (UNDP) Delegation to GB Chief Court
We sincerely thank the UNAP Representatives for visiting the Chief Court and appreciate their services.
We know for sure that the United Nations Association of Pakistan (UNAP) works under the umbrella of the World Federation of the United Nations Association of Pakistan. Their mission is to work to raise awareness of the United Nations goals, particularly with regard to sustainable development, and their implementation in the region through close cooperation with UN agencies.
Here is a meeting between Mr Ghulam Chopha (Registrar Chief Court Gilgit-Baltistan) and representatives of UNAP, where the honourable Registrar talks about how they modernized the GB Judiciary in a nutshell. And to make it easier for people to get justice.
He also informed about the number of employees of the Chief Court and honourable Judges. He said that there are about two million people living in the entire GB and a total of 470 employees of the GB Judiciary are rendering their services to these two million people.
